My Background
Having no official art education, and being a self-taught welder who never worked with metal, makes for some unique metal sculpture. A masonry contractor in Phoenix, Arizona for 30 years, I decided in 2007 to close the doors and pursue a dream. From that point, I never looked back. Metal sculpture grabbed me by the collar and has led first wife Linda Moser and I on an incredible and life changing journey. LIFE IS GOOD!!
My Medium
My medium is metal, and all original ladies are created from welding metal, unlike most sculptors that use clay for originals. Copper, crushed turquoise and other unique inlays are used on many of my pieces. The table tree bases are handcrafted from metal with hot applied patinas for color. I rescue live edge wood slabs for the tops and give them new life and purpose.
